The Michelob Ultra Pure Gold Rumble At The Ranch was the first event of the Countdown Series for the 2020 season that reunited all your favorite pros for one epic day of competition! The competition was set up as a co-ed, tag-team, winner takes all format where 16 guys and girls were paired together to create teams.

Coco Ho and Filipe Toledo took the win with a 16.24 while Tatiana Weston-Webb and Kanoa Igarashi followed behind with a 14.63. Filipe won the highest score of all day, a 9.67, and Coco had a solid, steady performance, throwing down in a 6.57 to lead their team to victory in Lemoore!

What made Coco's win even more special was the tribute to her late uncle Derek Ho, 1993 World Champion, that took place at the event. A party wave concluded the celebration of life of the Hawaiian legend. Coco also had a tearful empty left-hander that was touching to watch.

The charity event made for a warm welcome back to competitive surfing and we are excited to see what is to come for this unique season of competition!

Toledo and Ho chose the Surfrider Foundation of Los Angeles to receive the $10,000 prize fund in their names.
